To get into the university, you might as well do what you'd do in other universities to get in; fill out that application, pay the fee, write the essay, go to the interview. When I got in, Mason wasn't particularly strict on their entrance policies (which is why I suppose I got in!).
SAT: 1110 Male
I sent them my transcript and applicationSep 22 2004Political Science
I sent them my transcript and application. (had a 3.4) I recommend students to maintain a 3.0+, and you should be alright, although I've heard that its getting harder, so a 3.3 might make you more competitive.
SAT: 1150 Female
To be considered, you probably need a 2Sep 09 2004History/Histories (art history/etc.)
To be considered, you probably need a 2.7 GPA or higher, and with atleast 1050 SAT scores. Four years ago, students with less than 2.0 were getting, but that situation has changed unfortunately :)
SAT: 1050 Female
Its getting really hard to get into masonJun 20 2004Economics
Its getting really hard to get into mason. Every year more and more kids apply, a class of 03 grad didnt get in with a 3.0 and 1100 SAT. I think you def need some advanced course work, a solid 3.3 or better and over 1150 SAT. Extracurriculars a plus but not necessary. I think in the next few years though, the ad comm is really going to up the standards, so my advice is don't slack!
SAT: 1180 Female
I got my AA from a small, two-year collegeJun 02 2004PreLaw and Legal
I got my AA from a small, two-year college and was admitted based on those grades, not the SAT.
SAT: 1100 Male
